Many people like Dr. Sanjay Gupta seem to take a first glance at marijuana and immediately think of it as dangerous before looking at the research and studies from around the world. But when Dr. Sanjay did he found outstanding results. He met Charlotte and saw her situation as she struggled since she was a baby with seizures. Her family had tried everything but the last thing on their list was medical marijuana,but when they tried it they saw immediate progress. Charlotte was not smoking weed but she was given doses that were very high in CBD. Unlike the marijuana distributed to most patience it is not high in THC, so she doesn't "get high". After this nearly changed her life they named this strain of marijuana Charlotte's Web.
Marijuana has also shown other health benefits as well. The list of diseases it can help is very long but here are a few to get you started : AIDS,Arthritis,Nausea, Tourette's syndrome,and Migraines.

I've come to the conclusion that marijuana is good for you for medical reasons. The articles that I read were about facts and peoples opinions on medical marijuana. One was the 10 facts about marijuana. I agree with every fact on this article, but I didn't like the fact that in 2012 there was over 750,000 arrests of use. We need to lower that arrest rate. The other article was about the pros and cons for medical marijuana. Its people stating their opinions or facts for use. So with all the experience I learned about medical marijuana I think It is a good thing for cancer perposes only.

At first I didn't believe in Legalizing Marijuana, because I thought that if we were to legalize Marijuana we would have a higher drug rate in the U.S. But little did I know, were the facts behind why they legalized it... After doing some research I found that it was a good thing we did. It honestly is saving peoples lives including children's. In a (which is linked above) video I learned about how this doctor didn't believe in legalizing Marijuana, and now he does. All because of this little girl that was having over 300 seizures a week, it was killing her and she ended up not being able to function on her own anymore because of the seizures. After watching what Marijuana did for this little girl i'm all for it, but ONLY FOR MEDICAL REASON!! Marijuana let her function again and now she is able to talk, ride a bike, walk, and also eat on her own. That honestly is amazing that this drug could do that! There was a guy that Doctor Sanjay Gupta interview and he had fluttering going on in his stomach, it was very painful for him and once he smoked once he was perfectly fine and could talk normal again like nothing is wrong. After learning all of these things this drug could do made me think twice about why I wasn't for legalizing Marijuana... I came up with nothing, besides the fact that more people were going to do it, that didn't really need to do it. Well to me that really isn't a reason at all, so if you were like me and how I thought it was dumb for people to legalize it well watch this video and it may change your mind like it did mine....
